Vertual Ltd. announces that their world leading “flight simulator for Linacs” has become compact, mobile, and customisable.
Compact VERT, a new product from Vertual, will be launched on the 2nd of July 2020. Due to the current situation, regarding COVID-19, the launch will be virtual. A program of events is scheduled for the day, including webinars for our distributors, customers and prospective customers.

Compact VERT is complementary to the highly successful Immersive and Seminar VERT systems installed at over 150 institutions in 32 countries. It offers an option to customers where a VERT simulation system is desired, but space is minimal, or budget limited. Vertual has responded to feedback calling for a mobile, scalable and flexible solution with different software levels to make the system affordable.
Debra Leeves, CEO Vertual Ltd. explains that “Although VERT systems are becoming the go-to solution across the world for teaching radiation therapy in a simulated environment, it’s sometimes a challenge for those who want the systems but don’t have space or the budget. Additionally, there are those who want to use VERT but need the flexibility of teaching their students on split sites, and there are numerous healthcare professionals who want to inform their patients about upcoming treatments using VERT in a smaller more intimate room We listened carefully, became inspired with the multitude of uses for the VERT system and rose to the challenge to develop Compact VERT.’’
