In June, Vertual attended the AITRO conference in Rieti alongside our Italian distributor Technologie Avanzate. This conference was aimed towards radiotherapy technicians and radiation physicists. The conference was very well attended with over 200 participants from across Italy.
On the first day of the conference we participated as a presenter. Our presentation title was, ‘VERT: An innovative approach to teaching radiotherapy professionals’ The presentation was well received and generated a lot of questions.. On the second day short practical workshops were delivered in small sessions of 5-10 people using the software. The workshops were a great success, with all participants fully engaged with the VERT software, asking questions and seeing the benefits of training with the system or using it in the clinical environment.
